Amanda (“AC”) Rieman Sarago, Esq.

Biography

Amanda (“AC”) Rieman Sarago, Esq. received her business degree from Virginia Tech and is a proud Hokie. She obtained her juris doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in Ohio. Amanda then completed an online initiative from Harvard University and successfully received a passing grade in Contract Law, taught by a beneficial Professor of Law at Harvard Law School.

Amanda was voted BEST ATTORNEY in Culpeper’s “Best Of” Competition and was also nominated for Best Law Firm and Best New Business. She was a Virginia Supreme Court certified mediator for general district court and continues to be a guest judge by invite only at William and Mary Law School’s yearly Negotiation Tournament. Amanda is also listed as a “Who’s Who in America” representing Women in Law from the state of Virginia.

Amanda is a volunteer for the Fauquier County Food Distribution Coalition, a member of the Virginia State Bar, Culpeper Bar Association, Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Women Attorneys Association, and National Association of Women Lawyers. Amanda is also a member of the Diversity Conference, which brings together Virginia State Bar members interested in promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and ensuring that Virginia meets the legal needs of an increasingly diverse population. Amanda published her first children’s book, “The Pretty, Pretty (And Smart) Princess,” which can be found on Amazon.

Amanda was chosen to be featured on the cover of the 2021 edition of, “Faces of Culpeper”, magazine and was thrilled to be the only law firm/lawyer picked for the yearly publication. In 2023 Amanda was selected as a 2023 Rising Star by Super Lawyers.

Her work has been featured in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star, as well as the Culpeper Star-Exponent.

Amanda is a former President of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, Fredericksburg Chapter. Their mission is to assist female attorneys in developing their professional practice and achieving their potential, to bring about changes in the law, and to affect public policy for the benefit of the women of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Amanda is the official legal analyst for NBC-29, WHSV Harrisonburg, and Local News Live in Washington DC, where she provides legal insight into news stories. You can see all the news stories she has been featured on our blog.

Additionally, Amanda was featured in Culpeper’s, “Hometown Profiles”, magazine.

Amanda was also nominated for the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce’s 106th Annual Meeting and Awards Show’s Young Professional of the year as well as the 108th Annual Meeting and Awards Show’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Young Professional of the Year, which is a great honor. Amanda has been a guest on WJMA’s “Local Issues, Real People,” which is a Sunday morning program that focuses on members of the local communities, discussing issues that are important. Amanda joins the ranks of other business, government and community leaders, such as Congressman Eric Cantor, Governor Bob McDonald and Delegate Nick Frietas, who were also selected for this broadcast.
